Author Biography


Hamilton Gayden, nicknamed Kip, is a native of Nashville where he lives with his wife, Paulette. He is the father of three children. He has lived in several other states. The longest period outside Tennessee is when he attended Strom King School, Cornwall, New York for three years. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt, where he was a member of the basketball team, and a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School. Kip has been a trial judge for over thirty years. Besides the hobby of writing he is an outdoorsman who likes to be close to nature. He is an avid gardener including a large rose collection. Kip is a member of Sisters in Crime. Miscarriage of Justice is his first historical fiction novel. His first fictional novel was To Circle the Cross.
